June 5, 2014....a day we will not forget!!! This is the day that Sarah and Ashtyn's name officially changed to Thompson. They have been official in our hearts for a long time. Now we have a declaration of adoption. We had a sweet lawyer and judge. The ceremony was simple and touching. In Farrow Kate's words "Mama, I don't know what it is about this adoption thing, but it makes my heart like tickle". We had family there for support and also Mrs. Penny (the girl's original social worker) surprised them at the courthouse. We had a crew of friends waiting when we came out of the courthouse, and of course, Sarah, my dear friend and our photographer. I cannot begin to explain the road God has taken us on this year (and really before that), but we are so glad to be here now and in the judge's words..."Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, you now have four daughters"
