New Fun in Belden

Now, instead of following each other on tractors, it is four wheelers. We are really moving up in the world. Emma Claire loves the added speed she now has. Of course, she has already mastered driving it. She is a girl after her Daddy's own heart.

More Christmas 2008

"Beep Beep" (Jim's Dad) and Grandmommy came to our house Christmas morning to celebrate. The girls loved that!

Christmas 2008

This is Farrow Kate cleaning up cookies that Santa didn't finish. She was MUCH more interested in this than any of her toys. She was so glad he left some.
Christmas at my sister (Tara's). My mom and Mr. Thomas had been sick with stomach bug, so we opted for Christmas with them away from possible contamination. Everyone was well, and we had a great time.

Farrow Kate was destroying the decorations at my Dad's house. This ended up shattered, but he was very forgiving. He is pretty smitten with her.

"My Mac" (my Dad) and all of his grandkids except Farrow Kate who was getting a bath at the time.

This is my Grandmother (on the left) and her sister (Aunt Velma who is like another grandmother to me and Tara). They always look so festive for our Christmas get-together. By the way this is the grandmother that the "Claire" in Emma Claire's name comes from. She was 97 years old in April.

Pre-Christmas Fun

We visited with my family in Jackson
This is my Grandmother, the girls, and Callie (my niece)
The girls and My Mac

Yes, I know Callie looks just like me.

Jim's fun idea for my birthday celebration. Is that not cute?

Of course, the hours and hours of Christmas cookie fun.

Guilty As Charged

If you ask her "Did you get some candy?" , she says "naw". I will let you be the judge. She had wrapper and all. We finally had to put it up, but she says it was good while it lasted.

The picture doesn't do it justice of how she had it running all down her chin.

Emma Claire Decorates Farrow Kate

Now Emma Claire has gone professional. She not only puts makeup on herself but poor Farrow Kate. Farrow Kate is a trooper and actually loved every minute of it.

Leaf Fun

Although the leaves are sort of a thorn in my side, the girls love them. I am not sure that Farrow Kate understood the concept, but she had fun anyway. Of course Emma Claire had a blast.

Check Out Our New Makeup

Thank you Aunt Ta Ta for this wonderful makeup set. I think that is actually lipstick on her eyes mixed with some eye shadow and don't you love the arrangement of toenail polish she chose and painted on her own.

Happy Halloween

We had the cutest little lady bug and Tinkerbell on Halloween. They had a blast at the Reformation Party (even though Farrow Kate seemed to think the whole party was for her and it was so kind of everyone to put little candy in little baskets on the floor just at her level)

Emma Claire Is Three

It is hard to believe that Emma Claire is actually three years old. She did have a great time at her princess hay ride. Unfortunately, we did not get any pictures of the hay ride, but maybe someone did and we can add them later

She loved the cake.

Had to have a little help blowing them out.

Mrs. Jessica gave her sunglasses as big as hers.

Pumpkin Carving

This was the first time any of us had ever carved a pumpkin, but it was really fun. Emma Claire's favorite part was scooping out the "oowy goowy". If you notice, Farrow Kate was included as well. She is just to the Jim's right carrying her own little pumpkin around terrorizing the cats.

We wanted a "smiley face" pumpkin, so here we have it. Isn't he cute. (Jim did the carving)

Powell Pumpkin Patch

The girls and I took a trip to Walker and Camille's pumpkin patch. It was so much fun to roam around and pick up pumpkins.
You have to love the rolled up jeans
She was working hard to hold that pumpkin that sister gave her.
Meet Walker and Camille junior (Joseph and Anna Bishop)

We will have pumpkins for days. Thank you Powells. We have tried this in the Thompson garden and never had any success, but you definitely know what you are doing.

So Proud

I love the look of determination and pride. I can even say from a PT standpoint that she is officially walking everywhere.

Cooking fun with the Sanders

All eight girls had a blast cooking the other night. I came in to see a restaurant style set up with Eryn as the chef and Kendra as the hostess. I guess Mycah was cleaning and Myriam was the Mom of the other four. I was amazed to see the fun and creativity. (Eight girls in one house-not counting Esther and me- poor Jim and Greg)

Farrow Kate's sign language

Emma Claire has dilligently been trying to teach Farrow Kate to sign for "more". I finally got her on camera doing it. Emma Claire is the best at getting her to do it. I am amazed at what they can understand even before they have hair.

Jim and Misty's hobbies

Some have asked what is going on with us since all I put up is pictures of the girls. They are mainly what goes on around here, but we are very excited that the K5 (Jim's other baby) is back in action. With the new improved engine that he and his dad built, it is a thing of beauty and power. Yes, it is finally sitting in our driveway where it belongs.

Also, here are some pictures of my latest hobby. Most of you know that I got a saw for Christmas because I wanted to try to make picture frames. After lessons from Jim's dad and my dad, (thank you both) I am now feeling comfortable to try some on my own. As with my sewing, no one needs to look too closely, but here are a few.
