Third Grade Field Trip

Ashtyn kicked off field trip season with a trip to Noxubee County Wildlife Refuge. 

The weather couldn't have been better and the tours were very interesting.  Although we went last year, the topics were totally different this year.

Here we go again....I should just send my paycheck to Hodges, but we sure do love them.

Cross Country Begins

Our first experience with cross country has been a good one.  Sarah wanted to do this and then had second thoughts when she realized it involved running, but now says she loves it and wants to do it again.  She has made good friends and enjoyed being a part of the team. 

Football Fun

Emma Claire, Papa T, and I loved watching Cale kick especially while visiting with Tara, Callie and Connor.

Beach Trip # 3

We squeezed a September beach trip in this year with My Mac and KK.  We didn't have perfect weather, but in true My Mac and KK form, we made the most of it. 

Ashtyn turns 9!!

This girl just smiles.  She wakes up smiling most every morning and goes to bed smiling most every night.  She created her own ice cream cake birthday cake for her party.  It is really hard to believe that our youngest is 9.

We wake up in style here on your birthday.  We did let him have coffee first!!

First Day of School 2016

This year, we have a 3rd grader, 4th grader, 5th grader and 7th grader.  I dropped everyone off with no tears from anyone and they all reported good days at pick up.  We will count that as a win!!!

Beach 2016

This was our longest beach trip ever and the best water/waves ever.  The girls and I got to spend time with Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Charlie and Keith  (before Jim got there).  We got to hang with Gramsby and Papa T at the beach.  One jellyfish sting, lots of pretty weather, good seafood and we even saw Spiderman and Super girl (or something like that).
