What a Birthday!

I have been celebrating my birthday all week long! First, on Wed, I awoke to a wonderful breakfast cooked by Daddy and his helpers.....

Then, Thursday Jim and I left for a trip to Gatlinburg !!!!

This was taken on the little lighted bridge (so cute at Christmas)

These were carolers dressed up going around the shops downtown singing! They were amazing.
Where apparently you HAVE to get pancakes because they are on every corner. They are wonderful by the way.
The Ober Gatlinburg skiing had just opened on Friday, so we tried that out. I only shut the ski lift down once. It was great fun!
I just thought this building was amazing!

This is inside the amazing Christmas place store in Pigeon forge where you can get ANY Christmas thing you could ever want

This is outside the Amazing Christmas Place.

Thanks, Jim, for a great trip and Grandmommy and Beep Beep for keeping the girls.

Visit with Santa

Although Grandmommy went with us, this is the first year that she didn't have to stay in the picture to get them to do it. Guess they are growing up.

Christmas cookies and parade 2010

Did you know that the world's longest Christmas parade is held right here in Tupelo, MS? It was Jim and my first time to go to the Christmas parade and we were all excited to see this jolly fellow after 2 hours. Luckily, the weather wasn't bitter cold.

Two chefs in the making. They take this baking very seriously.

Oh the treats Daddy brings!

And sometimes when Daddy has been gone, he comes home with Baskin Robbins treats like this (even if it is right at nap time and they have already had dessert :). Don't worry, Mom wasn't left out.... I got a snickers sunday!

Farrow Kate's First Thanksgiving Feast

I just love helping at school parties (not that I did much cause Miss Wendi had it all done). Farrow Kate was the cutest little pilgrim princess!

Farrow Kate and Mamie (so we def have a short child along with our other extremely tall one)

Halloween 2010

This year we had the snaggletooth Strawberry Shortcake and the "fallen" angel (her halo stayed hanging down most of the night)

More Birthday on the Actual Day!

It must be fun to get to celebrate your birthday all weekend, and then wake up to flowers, presents, and a school party too! Happy Birthday Bug!

Fun Cupcake Party For the Big Girl

Emma Claire always has her own unique idea for her birthday party. She talks about it all year long. This year was no exception. She wanted a "decorate your own cupcake" party with a pinata and "jumpy thing". That was easy enough. Of course, she loved every minute of it, and for Mom and Dad, that is so much fun to watch.
Pin (or tape) the tail on the donkey.
Blowing out her "5" candle on the big cupcake

Boys decorated with all colors of icing

Emma Claire is proud of hers

Girls mostly stuck with pink icing

Lovely toppings that Emma Claire picked out for the cupcakes
