Second Grade Field Trip

To Oren Dunn we go again!!!  It was much colder this day but fun!!  I love seeing her amazement at all the olden ways.  More than anything, I love spending some one on one time with any of my girls.

EC turns 9!!!

As is custom, she celebrated for days.  She had a cake at school with the whole cafeteria singing.  She then took some friends, sisters and cousin to Gramsby and Papa T's campsight at Tombigbee State Park for a very fun "camping" party.  NO...we did not spend the night!!!  Then she and her sisters and Callie went to the hotel with Gramsby and Papa T.   She had birthday breakfast there and the next day at home.  I would say she turned 9 in style.  She is hanging on to one more year of single digits.

First grade field trip

We went to Lost Corner Farm on a beautiful day.  We went on the longest hayride I have ever been on.  The kids thought we were riding the hayride back to school!!! Ashtyn got to ride a horse and see fun animals....and of course we came home with a pumpkin.

50s party

What does "50s" mean to a 12 year old????....."It means you dress like an old woman"  Oh Boy!! Once I explained how they dressed in the 50s (by googling pictures), they were all excited.

Third grade field trip

For 11 years of living in Tupelo, I have never been to the Oren Dunn Museum, but I got to go Friday.  It really was cool....especially going with this gal!!!

Family Beach Trip Finally

Our beach trip was later than usual but worth waiting on.  Thank you Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Charlie for the tubes and chocolate cake.  Also, we had a fun time having a slumber party with Aunt Carolyn.  Daddy and Farrow Kate enjoyed their morning coffee on the balcony.  We caught starfish which was a first.
