Grandmommy turns 70!!

 

All the grandchildren represented on the cake and in person.  (the fenced off section was Grandmommy's section of icing saved just for her)....and yes they swam in the freezing water.

Fourth grade takes an overnight field trip to the Huntsville Space Center each year.  This was one excited child!!!

A beautiful day at Circle Y.  I couldn't be more proud of this girl.  She is in the inclusion class and has such a heart for helping.

Sarah turns 12!!!!

 

As is the custom in the Thompson house, we celebrated a birthday as long as possible.  She began on Wed on her real day with escort to breakfast from the littles, flowers from Daddy, her favorite breakfast and a family lunchroom invasion.  Her party was Saturday at the Painted Wren art studio.  (and we got to celebrate Mrs. Hardin who had a birthday Friday).  Sarah has glowed all week!!! We are very thankful for this sweet spirit to be added to our family.
