Mooreville Homecoming 2011

What a great honor, Emma Claire was asked to assist with Homecoming. They had a little mini-court of 6 kindergarten girls. They were announced at pre-game and got to release balloons behind the queen at halftime. She did a great job and loved every minute of it.

Have you ever seen a duck like this?

Not sure what the technical term for these type of ducks are, but we call them afro-ducks. They have this crazy hair on top of their heads. Yes, we have new ducks. Lazarus was once again alone, so we got him some friends.

Farrow Kate posed for me in her spandex gymnastics suit. You can only be proud of this at four years old. I could eat her up in this suit.

Emma Claire and Jim ran the fun run back in May. Farrow Kate also "ran" (about 20 ft) with Grandmommy before quitting. Mommy also ran the race with great cheerleaders.

What do you do when it rains for 2 days straight?

Well, you ride the four wheeler through the mud in the pouring rain...and have Tuti Fruiti ice cream for supper. Why not?

We all got together to celebrate Nate's birthday. It is rare for all 8 grandchildren to be in one picutre....and forget getting all of them to look at the camera. We missed getting pictures of paddleboat and Jeep riding.
