Jim took both girls to the ball this year. They looked beautiful and handsome. According to Jim, they had a great time. Farrow Kate danced all night and Emma Claire was mesmerized by the princesses. They got autographs, make-up, cupcakes, danced, and rode in a carriage.

Another Swim Lessons in the books
We just finished another year of swim lessons. They did awesome. Emma Claire is "diving" and also getting rings from the very bottom in the deep end. She learned breast stroke, free style, and back stroke. She also learned how to tread water. Farrow Kate is jumping off the diving board and swimming all the way to the ladder by herself. She is also getting rings in shallow end (with a little help to stay down). They even got awarded medals this year which they really loved.

Crazy Duck!
Meet Lazarus. Many of you have heard of this crazy duck that we named Lazarus. While we were fishing, he was standing on his head. He could be a little slow from the time he choked on an acorn (and we thought he was dead) or from the time Jim tossed him into the woods via shovel (because we thought he was dead) or from the time Collins dropped a basketball on him ( and we were pretty sure he was paralyzed). Anyway, I think he is here to stay because when any new ducks arrive, he is rather cruel and pretty good at running them off.

Fishing with My Mac
My Dad (My Mac) was here for Father's Day weekend. We went fishing and caught more fish than we ever have in this lake. Warren was visiting Sat. morning and joined the fun. They all wanted to "pet" the fish.

First Beach Trip for 2010
Jim and I just got back from Orange Beach. No, there was no oil so far! We had great weather for the most part. The girls had a great time with Gramsby and Papa T.
This was in Foley with Jim's Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Charlie, and cousin Keith. They were so gracious to let us stay in the condo and have us over for two delicious and fun meals.
And of course, Jim and I cannot have a boring trip. We did not go parasailing this time, but we did see a water spout! It was pretty exciting.
