Jim and Misty's hobbies

Some have asked what is going on with us since all I put up is pictures of the girls. They are mainly what goes on around here, but we are very excited that the K5 (Jim's other baby) is back in action. With the new improved engine that he and his dad built, it is a thing of beauty and power. Yes, it is finally sitting in our driveway where it belongs.

Also, here are some pictures of my latest hobby. Most of you know that I got a saw for Christmas because I wanted to try to make picture frames. After lessons from Jim's dad and my dad, (thank you both) I am now feeling comfortable to try some on my own. As with my sewing, no one needs to look too closely, but here are a few.

Farrow Kate Takes Steps

It has finally happened! Farrow Kate is letting go. She will take about 5 steps consistently before collapsing. The pictures did not show it, but she usually keeps her eyes closed while doing it. I don't think I would call it walking yet (the hard core PT in me) but she is VERY close, and she loves the attention she get for it.

Lots of "firsts"

Emma Claire has had a big week. She started preschool on Tuesday and Gymnastics on Wednesday. She is loving both (as she loves every aspect of life - except bedtime). I know this is not real school, but "Mom" still had a hard time with dropping her off Tuesday.

They each have their own blue bag with their name on it.

It is hard to believe it is that time again, but as you can see, we are ready for kickoff.

Fun at the new water park

Gramsby was in town, and the girls and I were tired of being inside with all the rain. The pool water is a frigid 75 degrees, so we decided to try out the new water park everyone has been raving about. It is worthy of the praise it is getting. Farrow Kate loved it as much or more than Emma Claire. They were completely entertained and I didn't have to worry about Farrow Kate backing into the pool as she loves to do. I would HIGHLY recommend it.
