Baptism/Girl's joining

Sarah, Emma Claire, and Farrow Kate  met with the elders a while back because each of them had prayed to have Jesus in their hearts.  When the adoption was finally complete, we were able to baptize Asthyn.  So needless to say, Sunday was a big day!!!.... and the bracelet was one Jim had given me way back and Mom and Papa T added charms for Sarah and Ashtyn.

Jim's birthday

We love a birthday at our house.  Daddy is treated just as royally as the girls.  I guess when you are the Daddy of 4 girls, it is okay to get your present wrapped in a purse??....as long as you also get some Batman gear.

School begins again!!!

Ashtyn in first grade with Mrs. Rogers, Farrow Kate in second grade with Mrs. Sullivan, Emma Claire in third grade with Mrs. Philly, and Sarah in fifth grade with all the teachers but Mrs. Spivey for homeroom!!!

Camping with Gramsby and Papa T

Our first camping adventure with Gramsby and Papa T was a hit!!!.  I purposely did not take a picture of their camper set up since it totally puts ours to shame.  What a fun and peaceful vacation this was.   Of course we had to have some drama when I tried to take the boat out without Jim.  We got stranded in the middle of Bay Springs Lake and finally got back to shore with the trolling motor.  The last picture was taken as the castaways made it back to the pier.  There is a never a dull moment where I am involved!!!!

Lake days

As the summer is ending, we have finally taken the boat out.  The girls loved using the Super Screamer that they had gotten for Easter.  Emma Claire skiid, Mama and Daddy even skiid ( I couldn't get a picture of Jim because I was trying so hard to just drive the boat).  Farrow Kate got up on skiis several times but not long enough to get picture....maybe next time:)

The Diva turns 7!!

Yes, she wore this banner for about a week straight.  Her sweet big sisters dressed up as "Anna and Elsa" and played games, painted nails and make marshmellow snowmen.  She also celebrated at Sunday School Sunday and, of course, on her birthday morning with flowers from daddy!!  (and yes, she loves the Hulk).  She truly is a joy to our whole family.  We love you, Farrow Kate!!

Greenbrier Saturday

One of our wonderful neighbors, Mr. Alexander, took the girls (and Jim) in a ride in his fun car!!
