Second grade field trip
A beautiful day at Circle Y. I couldn't be more proud of this girl. She is in the inclusion class and has such a heart for helping.

Sarah turns 12!!!!
As is the custom in the Thompson house, we celebrated a birthday as long as possible. She began on Wed on her real day with escort to breakfast from the littles, flowers from Daddy, her favorite breakfast and a family lunchroom invasion. Her party was Saturday at the Painted Wren art studio. (and we got to celebrate Mrs. Hardin who had a birthday Friday). Sarah has glowed all week!!! We are very thankful for this sweet spirit to be added to our family.

Charleston Girl's trip
So I had the privilege of getting away to Charleston, SC (where Liz and her sweet family live). I got to go with two of my favorite ladies, Susan and Liz, and we missed Melissa greatly. Charleston was incredible. The history and architecture were from a whole different world it seems. We toured downtown, toured a plantation, kayaked on the Folley River (connected to Atlantic ocean...and saw many dolphins) and hung out like old college friends can do.
