Pre-Thanksgiving at Orange Beach

We went to Orange Beach the week before Thanksgiving to celebrate with Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Charlie.  It was a little cooler than a usual beach trip, but the girls still got to catch crabs, kayak and a little beach time. 

 

Character Parade

 

Kindergarten were all dressed as owls.  Emma Claire was dressed as a chef for one of her reading books.  This is a very cute thing that they do at Mooreville each year.

 

 Yes, she had on her purse during the parade!!

Halloween 2012

I think we had a princess and a cowboy (although this is normal every day dress for Farrow Kate)

 

 And we came home with 2 huge stuffed animals....just what we needed.

Holly Farms Field Trip

Once again, I was honored to get to go on a field trip with my sweet buddy.  She smiled from ear to ear the whole time.

Emma Claire turns 7!!!

 

In usual Thompson family tradition, she celebrated all week.  She woke up to flowers from Daddy on her birthday, had a celebration at school, at soccer, family in town, and a tie dye Charlotte's Web party on Friday complete with a stay in the "shotel" that night with indoor pool.  What more could a gal ask for.

Pumpkin Carving

This year, Mama got to try out her carving skills since Daddy wasn't here.  Not too bad for the first time.  Unfortunately, Emma Claire fell and spread the pumpkin seeds that they had worked so hard to get out all over the yard.  Guess we will cook those next year!!

 

Field Trip to Memphis Zoo

 

I was priveledged to go with Emma Claire and her class to the Memphis Zoo Friday.  The weather was perfect and the group of girls we had were so sweet!!  I wouldn't trade that time with her for anything.
