Bored little sis

So when big sister goes to school and you are just pitifully sad, mom will do just about anything....including McDonalds, Subway, Connies, and even water park with your clothes on. Poor kiddo is so ready to start school.

Daddy Has Birthdays Too!!

Jim will probably not love this on our blog, but we have to celebrate his birthday full scale just like everyone else.

The true snaggletooth

Emma Claire finally lost that other front tooth to give a true gap look, but it only lasted about 2 days because now one of her permanent top teeth is halfway in. Farrow Kate just wanted to show off her mouth full.

Kindergarten begins

She made a special request for her favorite breakfast on her first morning. She was very fired up....until we got to the door of her classroom. It pretty much went down hill from there. You will notice that I didn't get any pictures of her with her two wonderful teachers.

My little baby rides this gigantic bus over to the high school from the elementary school (for carpool). She is really only on it for about 2 minutes, but still it seems so big.

Entertainment

Who would think that these two would be completely entertained ALL day working on a rent house. They were literally perched in chairs watching me paint a wall...and having a blast.

This was the same day. More adventures in the Jeep.

Family Beach Trip

Have I said how much I love the beach. What fun we had with the girls and Gramsby and Papa T. We also got a visit with Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Charlie...did I mention some fabulous chocolate cake

Thanks Mom and Papa T for ALL of your help. It wouldn't be the same without you.

This was prior to the jellyfish sting that Emma Claire got on her thigh. After that, she was pretty much done with the ocean water.

Good Medicine

I just have to tell a story about Jim's recent "take Emma Claire to the doctor" experience. It began with a week of upset stomach sooooo knowing that we were about to go out of town, I wanted to make sure she was okay. I was convinced she had some kind of parasite because it was very different from stomach virus. Anyway, I had a CPR class the morning that I decided this doctor visit was necessary, so Jim got the job. I told him that the doctor was surely going to want a stool sample, so it would just be easier if he went ahead and took one with him.....I will leave out the details of how we retrieved it, but anyway, he and Emma Claire and Farrow Kate took off with a "brown bag" to the early clinic. While I was at the CPR class, I kept getting texts from Jim like "we are stinking up the whole waiting room" and "Farrow Kate keeps asking when the doctor is going to look in the bag" and "I am going to check the role at your CPR class to make sure you checked in". I was trying the keep the laughter under control but also feeling a little sorry for him. After about 1.5 hours of waiting, he texts that she has strep throat!!!! What????? So the doctor never even looked in the bag and Jim had to take it to the dumpster on the way to the pharmacy. Is that good medicine for a Daddy or what?
